NWABR IRB Conference on July 21 Offers Stellar Speakers to Address Ethics in the Digital Age
Seattle, WA (PRWEB) June 29, 2016 -- The Northwest Association of Biomedical Research (NWABR) is hosting its annual IRB conference on July 21, 2016, at the Seattle Airport Marriott, located close to Seattle-Tacoma (SeaTac) Airport and accessible to downtown Seattle through Link Light Rail.
The theme of the event is Ethics and Regulation in the Digital Age. “As digital and emerging technologies revolutionize the conduct of clinical trials, thought leaders and regulators from across the country are coming together for meaningful presentations that will challenge conventional thinking regarding the ethical and regulatory issues generated by the use of technology in research,” says Ken Gordon, executive director of NWABR.
This one-day conference is a convenient forum to earn continuing education units (CEUs), gain access to top-tier speakers, and network with industry thought leaders. NWABR is co-presenting this conference with Quorum Review IRB and Boston University School of Medicine. In addition, Boston University School of Medicine is coordinating the accreditation for the availability of continuing education credits.
Keynote speaker Max Little is an Associate Professor at MIT and Aston University, a TED Fellow, and the Director of the Parkinson’s Voice Initiative. Plus, the IRB Conference offers top-tier speakers, including the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the Office for Human Research Protections (OHRP), professors and academics from prominent universities and institutions, and more.
