(PRWEB) December 08, 2017 -- Erin Falconer, Ph.D., Associate Director of Medical Affairs at ODH, Inc., a leading health technology services provider, will be co-chairing an event sponsored by a human rights group that consults to the United Nations featuring a panel of three distinguished speakers on the rights of the mentally ill in the criminal justice system on December 14, 2017 in New York City.

The event is sponsored by the Working Group on Human Rights and Mental Health within the Non-Governmental Organization Committee on Mental Health, which consults with the U.N. and its specialized agencies to foster mental health awareness across the globe. The Working Group provides education and consulting for the UN regarding the nature of mental illness and optimal approaches for protecting the rights of the mentally ill and related policy and planning issues at the U.N. and its member nations.
