Taken Holds On To The #1 Spot for February 2009

Quickflix has just released Top 10 figures on DVD rentals for February 2009.

Quickflix has released its February 2009 DVD hire figures, showing that hit action thriller Taken, starring Liam Neeson, is still the most demanded DVD title in Quickflix's library of over 35,000 titles.

Quickflix offers consumers the opportunity to select DVD rentals online and then delivers them by mail. Service benefits include no late fees on DVD rentals and a range of over 35,000 DVD titles, nearly 15 times the average video store.

Marvel hero hit Iron Man slipped to second place with The Black Balloon climbing from ninth place to third in February. Wall-E leapfrogged The Dark Knight as the most demanded title of the last six months. Futurama topped the most demanded TV list, followed by new installments of Bones, 24, Secret Diary Of A Call Girl.

Quickflix members continued to explore the depth of the catalogue, 80% of all titles were added to member Queues during the month of February. 92% of all Quickflix titles now feature in member Queues. High definition formats, like Blu-Ray DVDs, remained consistent, comprising nearly 2.44% of total rental demand in February 2009.
