Our goal is to get Utahns to take the JazzFit OZone Challenge and join the fight in combating the effects of obesity and diabetes through fitness.
Salt Lake City (Vocus/PRWEB) January 11, 2011
OZone Fit, a leader in delivering entertaining and social-based fitness programs driven by an innovative rewards system at their training facility in Draper, Utah and through their online portal at http://www.ozonefit.com, today announced its participation in the Utah Jazz JazzFit program as an official partner. The JazzFit program, developed by the Utah Jazz and its partners, is a statewide wellness campaign to promote healthy living and fight obesity and diabetes through physical fitness.
As an official JazzFit partner, OZone Fit is asking Utahns to join the fight against obesity and diabetes and support the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation by taking the OZone Challenge, a timed online workout found at http://www.ozonechallenge.com. The OZone Challenge is free for participants.
“OZone Fit is proud to be an official partner of the JazzFit program,” said OZone Fit co-founder and CEO Chris Armstrong. “Our goal is to get Utahns to take the JazzFit OZone Challenge and join the fight in combating the effects of obesity and diabetes through fitness.”
The OZone Challenge takes just a few minutes and with three levels of challenges – rookie, starter and all star, anyone can participate, regardless of their fitness level. Participants can take the OZone Challenge for free up to one time per day to see how their time stacks up against Jazz Bear and other celebrities. Each time a participant posts their time, they are entered to win prizes, with the grand prize being two Jazz tickets on the second row to the season closer against the Denver Nuggets. Everyone who signs up will receive a free limited edition JazzFit wristband to show they have taken the OZone Challenge and joined the fight against obesity and diabetes.
“The JazzFit program is helping to spread the word about the importance of preventing diabetes and obesity in Utah,” noted Randy Rigby, President of the Utah Jazz. “The OZone Challenge is an important component to the JazzFit program because it’s providing an opportunity to get fit for a good cause.”
For two days of rewarding and challenging workouts and nutrition education by professional trainers and former professional athletes, OZone Fit invites Jazz fans to sign up for the OZone JazzFit BootCamp at the Zions Bank Basketball Center on Friday, March 4th from 4pm to 8pm and Saturday, March 5th from 8am to 4pm. Adult and youth training programs will be provided at the BootCamp.
