The Parker Limited Edition Duofold Mandarin Yellow fountain pen is a stunning tribute to the Parker Pen heritage.

“While some people may never go anywhere without a cell phone or a wrist watch or a purse, I carry my Parker Sonnet ballpoint with me at all times.”
- Dr. Jim McClellan, Valued Fahrney’s Customer

George S. Parker, an American teacher and part-time fountain pen repairman, established the Parker Pen Company in 1888 in Janesville, Wisconsin to design and manufacture a better pen – one that didn't leak and wrote well. That pen, and all its many successors, earned Parker Pens a reputation for reliability, quality and smoothness of writing. Parker's rich history includes its role in placing signatures on some of the most significant peace treaties and resolutions of conflict of the 20th century, including the German and Japanese surrenders at the end of World War II.

Parker commemorates its 125th Anniversary with the launch of the Limited Edition Parker Duofold Mandarin Yellow fountain pen, paying homage to George Parker's tremendous vision and legacy. The luxuriously yellow resin color was distinctive to the Orient in the 1920s and an inspiration to George S. Parker. These coveted pieces will arrive just in time for Fahrney’s event - purchasers to have their Mandarin authenticity card signed in person by Geoffrey S. Parker himself. Visitors may also enter to win a “5th Technology” Parker Ingenuity pen as well as an illustration of the evolution of the Parker logo, which will be on display. Those unable to attend the event may preorder this special Limited Edition Parker Pen and have it signed by Mr. Parker while he’s in store on May 2nd.

For the past 15 years Geoffrey has been involved in an extensive archive and restoration project on the Parker family history, incorporating the family’s collection of four generations of photos and memorabilia. He has taken his story and amazing Parker Jotter collection on the road and is a regular speaker at collector pen shows. Parker’s new 125th Anniversary Jotter pens and new Parker Ingenuity releases will also be featured at the celebration.

Fahrney’s feels privileged to share this opportunity with the loyal fans of both Fahrney’s Pens and Parker Pen Company. Visit the Fahrney’s Pens store on May 2nd to take part in the joyous festivities honoring 125 years of Parker Pens, and enter to win a "5th Technology" Parker Ingenuity pen!
