Phillip Oakley Wins in Chicago With Trick Flow Specialties Cylinder Heads and Intake Manifold
Tallmadge, Ohio (PRWEB) June 16, 2014 -- Top Dragster driver Phillip Oakley took another step toward an NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series Division 3 Championship with a win at the Four Seasons Heating and Air Conditioning Burndown at Sundown event at Route 66 Raceway in Chicago. Oakley’s dragster is powered by a 640 cubic inch big block Ford topped with Trick Flow PowerPort® A460 360 cylinder heads and an R-Series A460 tunnel ram intake manifold.
Trick Flow began sponsoring the talented racer in 2004.

Oakley has been racing cars since he was 16. He has racked up numerous victories at a variety of races including multiple wins in NHRA Super Comp, Top Dragster, and at Tenn-Tuck and Mega-Bucks Big Money events.

Oakley ran a 6.586 second, 192.69 mph run to defeat Rick Forish’s 6.416/209.98 effort in Chicago. The win moved him up to second in points, only one point out of first place with three races to go in the series.
