Univision’s ‘Premio Lo Nuestro A La Musica Latina’ celebrated its 25th anniversary with a Capture POD photo booth on February 21, 2013. The POD photo booth was placed at the Hyde Lounge inside the American Airlines Arena in Miami for attendees to snap photos in throughout the night. Univision utilized the photo booth as a marketing tool by customizing the photo booth’s exterior and photo strips with logos and branding. Over 800 photos were taken in the Capture POD photo booth. Univision worked alongside Capture POD’s creative team to use the photo booth as an opportunity to promote its new brand identity, which launched in October 2012. This new logo was strategically positioned on the booth’s exterior for attendees to see easily. The Capture POD’s exterior was customized from white to black in order for the colorful new logo to stand out. “It didn’t look like the Capture POD photo booth,” says Pacheco. “It looked like the Univision photo booth.”
