This event will raise money and awareness to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project and PTSD. The wounded warrior project supports programs and services for wounded veterans including, but not limited to, soldiers returning from war that are suffering from PTSD and anxiety or Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. PTSD and recovery from severe and debilitating anxiety is something that is very near and dear to Vitchoff’s hear because any of the athletes that he trains are also American Soldiers and several have been deployed and affected either directly or indirectly from the effects of PTSD. Vitchoff has developed a revolutionary new treatment that can be used to address PTSD and anxiety in soldiers returning from war that provides them with an alternative to traditional talk therapy and medication. Many soldiers find it difficult to return to their normal lives because of the heightened sensitivity and traumatic experiences that they live in day in and day out in a war zone.
