Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) January 4, 2011
PointClear, an Atlanta-based prospect development company, today announced its sponsorship of the 20 Women to Watch, an international recognition program by The Sales Lead Management Association (SLMA). The SLMA is now accepting nominations to recognize the contributions of women involved in the vital discipline of managing sales leads.
"PointClear is proud to support SLMA's inaugural 20 Women to Watch in Sales Lead Management program," said PointClear President, CEO & Founder Dan McDade. “There are many strong contenders in this space, including one of our own, Karla Blalock. Recognition of the impact of the innovative, resourceful women in our industry is needed, and we are pleased to support this worthy effort.”
Nominations for the 20 Women to Watch began on Jan. 3, 2011. SLMA members are invited to nominate women leaders through March 16, 2011. (SLMA membership is free.) Nominees will be judged based on the person’s contributions from a marketing, sales and sales lead management standpoint. Additional qualifications such as board positions, book and article authorships, and speaking activity will be taken into account. Pioneering efforts to advance the skill and knowledge of sales lead management and marketing ROI will also be judged. Nominations will be posted on the SLMA site.
Winners will be announced by a panel of judges on March 31, 2011 at 10 a.m. PST.
“We are encouraging international nominations, as well as CMOs and those in marketing at non-vendor companies,” said James Obermayer, CEO and executive director of the Sales Lead Management Association. “The women we would like to recognize are most likely in marketing or sales at B2B and B2C companies; CRM, marketing automation, or lead generation firms; telemarketing, lead management software, exhibits management or lead management service companies and agencies (direct, brand, PR and internet),” he added.
