The Network of Business Angels & Investors continues as the "Premier Country Club for Investors" by hosting eight Private Equity Forums in 2008 and bringing the angel investor and venture capital communities together in an unprecedented Private Equity Conference. The Southeast Private Equity Conference will be the premier event where innovative companies connect with capital, investors and resources.

The Southeast Private Equity Conference (SPEC) will showcase the most promising emerging growth U.S. companies, providing these companies with unmatched exposure and education with the top national and regional venture capitalists, fund mangers, and private equity investors. SPEC is scheduled for April 28th and 29th in Atlanta, GA. This conference is unique because it brings together four key elements necessary for both tactical and strategic growth of a thriving investor community and the growth of innovative companies. First, there will be a Trade Expo where nearly 100 exhibitors are representing both early stage and emerging growth companies seeking investors, services and capital and those companies seeking to business with both investors and entrepreneurs.

Second, there will be seven break-out sessions to "sharpen the ax" for entrepreneurs seeking greater knowledge about creating value in their company and effectively raising capital; and investors seeking to better understand how to mitigate risk in an investment, create a liquidity event and manage their capital gains tax.

Next, eighteen companies will be selected from the pool of applicants to present their business opportunity in the Emerging Company Showcase to a group of over 80 investors, fund managers, investment bankers, and venture capitalists.

Finally, there will be plenty networking opportunities! They begin the night before with a VIP reception and continue all day! You will connect with a diverse collection of individuals during breakfast, lunch, before and after each breakout session! Additionally, we conclude with our last great networking event with our Capital Community Celebration at the conclusion of SPEC.
