RaeLynn’s Boutique on Track for Record-Breaking Homecoming Sales
Indianapolis, Indiana (PRWEB) September 26, 2013 -- Formal homecoming dances are becoming more popular across the Midwest as noted by the dramatic increase of designer dress sales at RaeLynn’s Boutique.
Sales have almost doubled since the 2012 fall homecoming season, according to the boutique’s owner, Alison McDaniel.
“Several schools in our area have decided to make homecoming a formal fall event instead of having the dance right after the football game,” McDaniel said. “It’s becoming a huge event that some schools consider it more important than prom, so girls are looking for designer dresses.”
Since sales have doubled, so has the inventory at RaeLynn’s Boutique. In its fifth year of business, the social occasion retailer has ordered over 120 homecoming styles.
“In my first year of business I think we had 15 short formal dresses on our sales floor,” McDaniel said. “The demand for these cocktail dresses has increased for multiple events and so has our inventory.”
The boutique carries homecoming designer dresses from Blush Prom, Mori Lee, and Faviana. RaeLynn’s also brought in several designers with dresses at lower price points.
“We carry the top designer dresses in formal wear, but also have gowns at affordable price points that don’t break the bank,” McDaniel said. “It’s important that we cater to the needs of all our customers with a wide range of prices.”
The boutique will continue to build their homecoming inventory yearly as the demand of dresses continues for this fall event.
