Announcing a new urban oasis in the heart of Dallas- Remedy Spa, a day spa dedicated to their clients’ total wellness.

Located at 810 N Prairie Ave., Remedy Spa will provide therapeutic massage, yoga, and aesthetic services. When people arrive at Remedy Spa, they'll be surrounded by lush landscaped gardens blanketed with flowers and a gentle, tranquil atmosphere where their spirit and mind can be at peace.

Visitors can open up their body and strengthen their core with a yoga workout, and then enjoy a deep tissue, myofacial release, Shiatsu or Thai massage, followed by a facial or waxing from our aesthetician. Patrons can relax in a fluffy SoyBoo (soy/bamboo blend) robe and slippers while they enjoy tea, the scent of flowers in the air, and the sound of fountains and singing birds. Remedy Spa is a place to pause amidst the hectic hubbub of city life. If someone's health needs extend beyond massage and yoga, Remedy Spa happily provides referrals to personal trainers, nutritionists, and chiropractors.

Remedy Spa is brought to Dallas by Kirk Schmidt, LMT TX #027574. Kirk has been a therapist for 10 years, trained in Advanced Sports Therapy and was the official massage therapist for the Dallas Sidekicks. Kirk has owned and operated Marquis Massage out of Elite Fitness in Denton, TX from 2000 – 2005 and then was honored to work with Bliss at the W Hotel for 2 years. Now Kirk is opening Remedy Spa to help Dallas relax.

After a car wreck put him in a coma for over a month, Kirk got his life back through physical therapy. “I found massage therapy kept my muscles loose and my blood flowing, sending white blood cells to the injured areas to speed the healing process,” Kirk said.

“I decided massage therapy was a way to give back to those who helped me.”

Remedy Spa is located on 810 N Prairie Ave., or online at Gift certificates are available. Visitors may call to make appointments: 469.831.2898.
