Rhode Island Medical Imaging Earns Healthy Workplace Award from Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island and the Greater Providence Chamber of Commerce
East Providence, RI (PRWEB) August 07, 2013 -- Rhode Island Medical Imaging (RIMI) was recognized with a Worksite Health Award in the Exemplary category. Annually, Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island (BCBSRI) together with the Greater Providence Chamber of Commerce (GPCC) presents the Worksite Health Awards to area businesses that offer programming to encourage employees to be healthier.

BCBSRI and the GPCC distributed Worksite Health Awards to 75 deserving Rhode Island companies at a breakfast ceremony where several hundred members of the business community gathered to celebrate their collective efforts. The event was designed specifically to pay tribute to the Rhode Island companies and their employees who have demonstrated an understanding of the value of health and fitness through the creation and implementation of worksite wellness programs.
