A book that proves how crucial it is to pay attention to what we hear.

Holy Fire Publishing (holyfirepublishing.com) releases "No Longer Zombies but Complete in Christ" (Paperback, U.S. $18.99, ISBN: 9781603835725) A handbook that encourages people from all ages to carefully examine lyrics and the music that they hear.

Rika Geldenhuys, a retired teacher and school psychologist, dives in the depths of human thoughts and emotions by examining the sound waves as a stimulus. Rika exposes the truth behind the toxic effect that some music, rhythms, and lyrics have on the body, mind, and spirit. She emphatically states that "The mind of a person is where reasoning takes place. This reasoning can be the result of the words of God, men or demons which enter a person’s mind (thoughts)." and one must be very careful with what is allowed to enter the mind.

The sound waves travel to the brain to alter not only a person's thoughts but also the emotions and the behavior. As a result, the entire personality will be changed over time. The stimuli which are received on a daily basis are either positive or negative and that is why Christians, need to be extra aware of the information that they accept. "No Longer Zombies but Complete in Christ" is based on the spiritual premise of the book of Proverbs 23:7 "For as he thinks in his heart, so is he." In other words, thoughts mold minds.

Rika writes this book after a couple of years receiving revelation from above. In her own words, “this guide follows the principle that God gave men the ability to choose. This ability can be dimmed when we allow other entities the power to control our mind. I pray that readers will gain the TRUTH. My hope is that they will absorb this truth and will be totally set free from fears, insecurities, a low self-image, and addictions and become strong and full of joy".

Rika Geldenhuys, 63, a retired teacher and school psychologist who enjoys simple pleasures in life such as baking, singing and walking in nature, lives since five years ago on a farm at the West Coast of South Africa. Her ministries include prayer and counseling. Rika and her husband, Stephen, have two sons who live and work in Cape Town, South Africa. Contact information: rika@arnion.co.za
