Rob Rose will discuss how e-commerce is changing the supply chain game at the SMC³ Jump Start 2013 conference in January.

Rob’s extensive experience managing technology solutions has given him the real world experience required to know what works when it comes to supply chain strategies.

Rob Rose of Worldwide Express, a Dallas-based package and freight shipping firm, will speak at the “e-Commerce: Changing the Supply Chain Game” general session at the SMC³ Jump Start 2013 conference, Jan. 21-23, in Atlanta.

Rose is a leader in developing e-commerce strategies and guiding supply chain efficiency. He will share his experiences building commercially viable supply chains along with the competitive challenges that have been presented by e-commerce and the virtual marketplace.

“I am honored to appear among the top transportation and logistics experts in the industry at this year’s SMC³ Jump Start conference,” said Rose. “My session will discuss the trends and changes that e-commerce is having on supply chain management and how supply chain and logistics efficiency play a major role in determining e-commerce success.”

Rose will map out the relationships of external suppliers and distributors, internal processes and transportation patterns during the session.

With a background in technology and telecommunications, Rose has managed co-location services and hosted applications with Sprint and provided strategic sales and P&L performance management for US WEST/Qwest Communications. Rose has long-term familiarity solving problems through technology solutions, and he continues to advance Worldwide’s logistics solutions as the firm’s chief financial officer.
