Generations of ranching traditions are very much a part of the Rowse family. One of the great things about their way of life is the interconnectedness of the ranching community—the way neighboring ranches help each other during brandings or cattle roundups. The 1+1 is not a resort but an authentic cattle and horse ranch on the wide-open range -- like something you’d see in a John Wayne movie. Guests leave behind crowds, noise, traffic, and the hassles of their everyday life to come share the life of real working cowboys. “You have to love what you are doing to be able to share and have others love it too,” said Tammy Rowse. Guests end each day with a home-cooked ranch meal and a soft bed in log cabins.

Guests come from all over the US and other countries such as Germany, Norway, France, Ireland, United Kingdom, Austria and Belgium. Jerry and Tammy Rowse started their guest ranch operation ten years ago and have watched it grow every year. The Rowses take pride in giving their guests a week-long opportunity to be cowboys.
