Being included on the Div100 applauds something for which we are very proud -- our diversity.
Atlanta, GA (Vocus) April 20, 2010
The law firm of Rutherford & Christie has been selected as one of the "Top 100 Diversity Owned Businesses in Georgia (Div100)" by DiversityBusiness.com. Over 650,000 privately held businesses in the United States had the opportunity to participate in DiversityBusiness.com's annual business survey.
The awards are based on gross revenue and the company’s business profile. DiversityBusiness.com has published the list for a decade to assist Fortune 500 companies and other corporations in their efforts to diversify their suppliers. Rutherford & Christie is especially honored to be the only law firm among the diversity owned businesses ranked on the list.
“We are pleased to have been recognized with this prestigious honor, especially as the only law firm and one of the few women-owned law firms nationwide," explained partner Carrie L. Christie. "Being included on the Div100 applauds something for which we are very proud -- our diversity." More than 50 percent of the firm’s attorneys are women or minorities.
Div100 award recipients will be honored during the 10th Annual National Business Awards Ceremony and Conference, April 27-29, 2010 at the Gaylord National Resort in Washington, D.C.
