I was delighted to be chosen for the show and it was a really great day. The fact that we raised sufficient funds to go towards the new windows was a real bonus and choosing Safestyle UK proved to be an excellent choice. The windows look fantastic and will go a long way towards the overall renovation of the house.
Luton, United Kingdom (PRWEB) November 27, 2008
BBC TV's latest "Cash in the Attic" winner, Robert Irving an electrician from Luton, was chosen to star in the hit daytime show after he expressed a desire to raise money and complete the renovation of his mother's property in Deal, Kent.
Robert saw a number of his valuable possessions go under the hammer to successfully raise sufficient funds, helping with the purchase of some new energy-efficient 'Diamond energiKareTM' windows from Safestyle UK. Not only will the new windows enhance the look of the property but, in the current climate, with their energy saving credentials will also cut heat loss by up to 90% helping to reduce energy bills.
The auction was so successful that Mr. Irving was able to contact Safestyle UK, the country's leading energy efficient replacement window and door installers, and agree for the work to done be immediately.
Mr. Irving managed to raise a fantastic sum of £1200 at auction, with the highlight being the sale of a Japanese Officer's sword picked up by his father, whilst serving his country during World War Two. Other items which surpassed all expectations included two military helmets.
Robert said of his television appearance: "I was delighted to be chosen for the show and it was a really great day. The fact that we raised sufficient funds to go towards the new windows was a real bonus and choosing Safestyle UK proved to be an excellent choice. The windows look fantastic and will go a long way towards the overall renovation of the house."
Mani Bhatoa, Head of Marketing at Safestyle UK, added: "We are delighted Robert chose Safestyle UK for his renovation plans and I'm sure our energy saving windows will provide Robert and his mother substantial energy saving as well as money saving benefits for years to come."
