Lawrie Hudson grew up in her grandmother’s home with several in-home care providers after her grandmother’s stroke. She experienced first-hand on-going memory care and physical therapy when senior family members experienced debilitating strokes, hip and shoulder replacements and multiple forms of cancer. Before professionally assisting seniors, Lawrie worked in the pharmaceutical, naturopathic, hospital and medical diagnostics sides of healthcare. For over two decades she personally worked, lead and managed teams across the US, Europe, Latin America and Asia which gave her an appreciation for many different cultures and how they take care of their senior family members. Lawrie is also knowledgeable and appreciative of the US healthcare system and the important relationships between physicians in private practice, their patients, hospitals and post-acute treatment facilities and care options such as skilled nursing, respite, rehabilitation, in-home and community based care.
