The Holly Jolly Handbook is a free, pocket-sized guide that collects all major holiday events held in Caddo and Bossier parishes during the months of November and December. The guide can be downloaded or requested by mail.

The Holly Jolly Handbook (is) a free, pocket-sized guide to nearly two dozen major holiday events held in Louisiana's Caddo and Bossier parishes.

The Shreveport-Bossier Convention and Tourist Bureau has released the 2018 edition of The Holly Jolly Handbook, a free, pocket-sized guide to nearly two dozen major holiday events held in Caddo and Bossier parishes during the months of November and December. This annual publication may be viewed or downloaded in the “My Trip” section at http://www.Shreveport-Bossier.org, or a print copy may be requested by calling 800-551-8262. Print copies may also be picked up in-person during operating hours at the Shreveport-Bossier Convention and Tourist Bureau’s Visitor Centers at 629 Spring Street in downtown Shreveport and Shreveport Regional Airport. A growing list of upcoming holiday events in Shreveport-Bossier can also be viewed at http://www.SBFunGuide.com.

Major holiday events in Shreveport-Bossier begin with the Louisiana Boardwalk Bass Pro Shops Santa Parade on Saturday, Nov. 10 and continue through New Year’s Day. Highlights include: Les Boutiques de Noel, Nov. 15-18; Christmas in Roseland, Nov. 22-Dec. 23; Rockets Over the Red Fireworks Festival, Nov. 24; Christmas on Caddo Fireworks Festival, Dec. 1; Benton Christmas on the Square Festival, Dec. 8; and the Walk-On’s Independence Bowl, Dec. 27. Event listings in The Holly Jolly Handbook include basic event information as well as ticket pricing, contact information, and more.

Shreveport-Bossier is a member of the Louisiana Holiday Trail of Lights, which also includes Minden, Monroe-West Monroe, Natchitoches, and Alexandria/Pineville.
