This event is independently organized through TEDxSanAntonio, operating under the license of TED--a company that stands for "Technology, Entertainment, Design" and is most known for online videos of their conferences encompassing a wide range of topics--and will take place at Rackspace Global Headquarters in San Antonio, TX on October 18, 2014.
The event will focus on immigration, gender identity, destructive leadership, and other topics that fall under TEDxSanAntonio's theme for 2014: "Ideas in Action." TEDxSanAntonio will be hosting 20 speakers this year, including Co-Owner of WebTegrity, Kori Ashton; ComedySportz actor, John Lewis Lambert; and story rhetoric expert, Sarah-Jane “SJ” Murray.
