Site Strategics located at 3725 Southport Road will be hosting New Media Day for guests from the New Media Academics Club of Indiana University Kokomo. The event is scheduled to take place on Saturday September 15, 2012 from 10:00am to noon. Students will be provided information on current trends in search engine optimization (SEO) social media, web development and internet marketing. Those in attendance will be given the opportunity to learn more about career opportunities available in the internet marketing industry. Representatives from Site Strategics, DK New Media Agency and Kelly IT Services will be featured speakers. The event is open to the public.
New Media Day is the result of a relationship developed between Site Strategics and the IU Kokomo New Media Academic Club through the Edge of the Web Radio Program. Edge of the Web is a weekly radio show developed by Site Strategics and is broadcast each Saturday at 8:00 on WXNT 1430am. Edge of the Web covers current internet topics such as SEO, search engine marketing, email marketing and internet marketing.
