SkyStem’s CEO and founder, Shagun Malhotra, once again served as a judge for the 10th annual New York StartUP! 2019 Business Plan Competition.

SkyStem LLC, a leading provider of automated account reconciliation software, is proud to announce that its CEO and founder, Shagun Malhotra, gives back to the entrepreneurial community as a judge for the New York StartUP! 2019 Business Plan Competition.

Since being awarded the 1st runner up prize in the 2011 competition, Malhotra has been actively involved in the StartUP. Program as a judge for eight years. Ms. Malhotra’s experience as an entrepreneur in the fintech industry has made her a valuable asset as not only a judge with keen insight but a mentor for the entrepreneurs in the competition as well.

“As an entrepreneur myself, it is so rewarding to help give back to the city that helped me jump start my company,” said Ms. Malhotra. “I was lucky to have mentors who helped me during my entrepreneurship, which has motivated me to help as many entrepreneurs in this city with the same passion and drive I had when starting my company.”

2019 marks the 10th annual competition hosted by The New York Public Library. Each year, New York-based startup entrepreneurs are invited to participate in educational workshops and pitch their business ideas for a chance to win up to $15,000 to fund their business ventures.
