Vancouver, B.C. (PRWEB) February 28, 2014 -- Smartt Inc. (Smartt) today announces that Connect the Doc (CTD), a Smartt business incubation partner, has already achieved its first quarter goals. Since its official launch in December 2013, Vancouver-based CTD has signed 50 private clinics and healthcare professionals in the local market.
Early proof of viability in the Vancouver Lower Mainland puts CTD on track to expand both its client base and service coverage, with plans underway to make CTD available in major metropolitan areas in Western Canada such as Victoria and Calgary.
“We have some solid business metrics now,” says CTD co-founder Nadeem Kassam, “so we can move ahead with plans to accelerate growth. We expect our client base to increase to more than 200 clinics and practitioners by the end of this year.”
CTD provides a free web-based booking system that makes it easy for patients to search by treatment type and location for a healthcare provider, then book appointments online. Private clinics and healthcare professionals registered on the CTD system maintain online appointment calendars and profiles that include location maps, services offered, and reviews. CTD’s online bookings help fill unused or cancelled appointment times.
Over the next year, CTD plans to expand solution with new features and pricing packages to appeal to a wider audience.
