“Because of Florida’s tropical climate, we felt it was important for the homeowners at The Sanctuary to have the security and peace of mind that comes with knowing their home will always have power capabilities," said developer Brian Taub of Taub Entities.

While upscale living can be defined by having luxurious amenities and concierge services of the highest caliber, access to advanced safety technology can also be considered a highly valued component to living well. Knowing that safety and security are important to buyers, developers of The Sanctuary at Alexandra Place, Taub Entities, are installing an upgrade that no other tower in Tampa, FL offers. The Sanctuary will be the first residential tower in the state of Florida to offer a 300kw Natural Gas generator which will allow each owner to have a fully functional powered home during a power loss.

The generator gives residents an emergency power backup option, which will have an automatic transfer switch located in the electric room on the ground floor. This ability means that if power is lost, residents at The Sanctuary would still get power to fully operate their home, including electrical power for any emergency medical equipment, electrical power to keep vintage wine at the appropriate temperature and electrical power for air conditioning and climate control to keep the integrity of any priceless artwork that requires a set temperature and humidity level.

The developer, Brian Taub of Taub Entities, says this ability is a game changer given the possibility of inclement weather systems in the area, “Because of Florida’s tropical climate, we felt it was important for the homeowners at The Sanctuary to have the security and peace of mind that comes with knowing their home will always have power capabilities. Not only does this have implications to powering medical equipment, but it is also valuable to homeowners that have invested time and money into curating their own fine art or rare wine collections,” said Taub.

New York-based, Plaza Construction, has begun construction of the estimated $40 million high-rise tower with prices starting at $2.54 million. The Sanctuary also boasts 48’ of an “impact rated” frameless glass system offering not just unobstructed views but also safety and security. This state-of-the-art glass system is the first of its kind in the state of Florida and The Sanctuary is the only condo tower in Tampa offering one condominium per floor.

Residents at The Sanctuary will enjoy lavish bespoke amenities and an ample array of VIP concierge services. The amenity deck, aptly named The Retreat, is nestled next to Fred Ball Park’s tree canopy and will offer private poolside cabanas, a firepit, a secluded hot tub area, and an outdoor kitchen. VIP services, like valet parking, package deliveries to residences, on-site notary services, cable and wifi access in common areas, and daily valet garbage and recycling pickup will be available to all homeowners. Private enclosed garages, residence generator capabilities, and the ability to select interior finishes that are beyond the market standards set the Sanctuary apart from any other condominium home currently on the market in Tampa Bay.
