Following the InSync announcement of the approachment of the first Alpha version, the company has reviewed InSync pricing and the options for Google Drive synchronization on Linux platforms and found InSync to be the most cost effective option in the market.

Pablo Rodriguez Pina explained: “$10 for a lifetime license is fairly competitive for a tool that does what it is supposed to do and has proven to be quite stable for almost a year of beta stage. We are very happy with SyncDocs for the windows platform and we are aware users run SyncDocs via Wine but in this case, we decided to use InSync as Nautilus integration and it comes at an excellent price.”

InSync, which integrates which has Nautilus integration offers features very similar to the Google Drive client for windows. With InSync about to reach its first Alpha release Pablo Rodriguez enumerated their wish list for InSyncs roadmap.

“I guess the most important feature I’d like to see added to InSync is a preferences menu with a few options like selective syncing or the ability to enable / disable Google documents conversion to desktop formats.”
