Evluma continues to develop innovative technologies supporting the long life, low maintenance and adaptable applications that contribute to the AreaMax’s position as the lowest cost of ownership LED luminaire. Dimmable with ConnectLED™, Evluma’s proprietary BLE controls application, light levels can be customized and scheduled pole-to-pole, unlocking additional energy savings. ConnectLED also enables quick connect/disconnect from the ground saving maintenance. “Photocontrol Failsafe™, an Evluma proprietary technology that maintains the dusk and dawn on/off cycles of the luminaire even if the photocontrol should fail is also a significant maintenance saver,” said David.
Evluma has worked with the IDA (International Dark Sky Association) in the past to certify previous product lines. The OmniMax™, an LED retrofit lamp announced in the spring of 2016 and built on the AreaMax electronics platform, including Photocontrol Failsafe and 20kV/10kA surge protection is offered in CCT ranging from 2000K through 5000K.
