OHL is pleased to announce the addition of Robert Chiarito as central region vice president for Barthco Americas. Chiarito brings more than 25 years of national and international experience to the position. Barthco is a division of OHL.
As central region vice president, Chiarito will be responsible for the management of all operational, sales, profit/loss, budget and project roles for multiple stations, employees, freight forwarding and customs brokerage operations. He will also implement and manage strategic initiatives to increase growth, sales, profit and geographic footprint in the central region.
"Robert brings a vast wealth of knowledge of both national and international experience to OHL," said Larry Antonucci, president, Barthco Americas. "I am confident he will continue to elevate the success of the company and the central region as a whole."
Chiarito was one of the founding members and senior vice president of Expeditors International, with a focus on US and Asia-Pacific accounts and offices. In addition to his 16 years spent in a leadership role at Expeditors International, Chiarito served in two positions at Kintetsu World Express, USA, including senior vice president and director Far East business development. Chiarito also served in two positions at Eagle Global Logistics, including the director of international business development and regional sales manager for the Midwest and East coast. Chiarito is a graduate of the University of Illinois and served in the United States Marine Corps.
