The Holiday Inn Westbury - Long Island Plans on Extending its Summer Appeal by Keeping their Outdoor Pool Within their Garden Courtyard Through the End of September 2016
Long Island, New York (PRWEB) August 23, 2016 -- Many guests of the Holiday Inn Westbury - Long Island, specifically those that stay for the first time are typically surprised to see the oasis the Hotel offers its guests with its outdoor pool and garden courtyard area. Typically the Hotel closes the pool shortly after Labor Day; however, with the warm summer it has had, it's predicting the heat will last well beyond Labor Day Weekend, and guests will be able to enjoy sitting poolside surrounded by their ever growing perennial and annual garden.
This year more than ever before, the Hotel invested time and resources in to the pool and garden area, by clearing out some old shrubs and planting a wide array of flowering perennials, evergreens and colorful annuals. According to the Holiday Inn Westbury's Front Office Manager, Katie Carriero, the outdoor pool and courtyard is one of the amenities the Hotel's guests love the most. "I get a lot of comments from guests stating how much they love the pool area. I think they're first surprised how big the area is, and also how relaxing it can be. They often say it's an oasis that makes them feel as if they're in a resort far from the ordinary," she said. She added that the Hotel's guests that take advantage of the pool and courtyard typically spend more time then they intended in the area because its just a tranquil atmosphere, and they have a lot of fun.
The Hotel's management team have received a lot of positive feedback regarding their pool area, and they believe it's something that guests will continue to seek if the weather remains warm. The Hotel's Director of Operations, Kushank Gupta said, "Guests like the fact that they can just relax in our lounge chairs poolside, sit in our gazebo, or at one of our bench tables outside the pool area, and perhaps enjoy sitting at one of our dining tables on the patio outside our restaurant, which is LiLLiES Restaurant and Bar. We all love seeing our guests enjoy the pool and patio area, and in extending the operations, that just means we'll get to see a lot more happy and smiling guests, which is what we always want to see." Mr. Gupta stated that the pool hours of operation will remain the same daily, which are from 9:00 am - 8:00 pm daily, weather permitting.
