The Inn at Great Neck and the Brasserie Americana Restaurant Located in Great Neck, Long Island, NY Will Be Hosting a Grand Easter Buffet on Sunday, April 20th, 2014
Great Neck, New York (PRWEB) February 28, 2014 -- The Inn at Great Neck and the Brasserie Americana will be hosting a very special Grand Easter Buffet on Sunday, April 20th, 2014. Seatings will begin at noon and will continue every 90 minutes with the last one at 4:30PM. The price per person is $39.95 plus 8.625% tax and 19% gratuity. Children 10 and under will be half price.
The Inn has developed a very special menu, which is a bountiful one that is sure to please all. Their menu does not list all of the items they will have on display, but it certainly gives a good idea of the feast they will have prepared for their guests. In addition to the grand buffet, the display itself will be decorated magnificently for the season and the special occasion by the Inn's Food and Beverage Director, Jose Portillo. Portillo takes great pride in all of his banquet displays and the Easter buffet according to him will be no exception. When he was asked what the enjoys most about such an occasion, he replied, "Of course the taste of the food is important, but I rely on our Executive Chef to take care of that aspect. What I really enjoy is making sure the food is displayed in such a manner that its appearance is enhanced and that everything surrounding it just compliments it and makes it even more appealing. I think people first dine with their eyes, so if I can get one to try something they may not normally have tried and they enjoy it, that's what makes me feel good. I also like the use of lights and colors to enhance a display, so I will often use floral displays and other decorative items to just make everything pop. Seeing guests take pictures of what we create is also very rewarding."
Last Easter the Inn was host to approximately 200 guests and this year they are expecting over 250 attendees. The Inn offers complimentary valet parking for restaurant guests, plus their is plenty of municipal parking in the area. Reservations are now being taken on a first come, first serve basis.
