Sallis, M.D. , FACSM, Exercise is Medicine Advisory Board Chairman and the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point the “Distinguished Service and the University Program Award” at the Medical Wellness Forum in San Diego, California on March 12, 2014.
The Medical Wellness Association has recognized leading medical wellness professionals programs from around the world. The Association will recognize Dr.Robert E. Sallis, M.D. , FACSM, Exercise is Medicine Advisory Board Chairman and the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point for“Distinguished Service and Program Awards” at the Best of Wellness Reception at our Medical Wellness Forum on March 12th. Dt. Robert Sallis will be presenting at the Forum and Dr. Corey Huck, coordinator of the Health Promotion/Wellness degree program will accept the Best Medical Wellness Program for a University on March 12th in San Diego at the the Marriott Marquis Ballroom. The Association is honored to recognize the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point for the “Distinguished Program Award” for a University from the Medical Wellness Association. This award is in recognition of a long history of producing outstanding, entry-level health and wellness experts for wellness positions across the country. “MWA is particularly impressed with the quality of graduates and the national-level internship experiences of the graduates of the program.” The Association looks forward to presenting this award to the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. The University will be represented by Dr. John Munson, Chairman of the National Wellness Institute and Dr. Corey Huck, coordinator of the Health Promotion/Wellness degree program, will represent UWSP at the awards ceremony.
