Myrtle Beach, SC (PRWEB) August 23, 2013 -- The Golf.com World Amateur Handicap Championship, or World Am as it is commonly called, will celebrate its 30th anniversary as a Myrtle Beach, SC annual tournament August 26-30, 2013. The event will draw over 3000 golfers from around the globe to compete for the prestigious recognition as "World Champion".
Nightly, after competition, golfers and their guest will converge on the Myrtle Beach Convention Center for the World's Largest 19th Hole. The center will be packed with vendors, guest speakers, activities, food, and beverages. TheGolfDirector.com will introduce its global golf talk radio platform for the first time at this event. TGD Radio will broadcast "Live from the World Am presented by Grand Strand Vacations" from booth # 421 nightly at the event.
"We will be reporting on the tournament's developing news," said executive producer, Jeff Gilder. "But the theme of our broadcast is going to be based on golfer interviews and the subject of golf today and in the future. Gilder says nationally the golf industry has to find solutions for getting more amateur golfers into the game and on the golf courses. There are a number of areas to be addressed and he wants to get feedback directly from the golfers to share with his network.
