Byron Katie
Once the four questions are alive inside you, your mind becomes clear, and therefore the world you project becomes clear. This is more radical than anyone can possibly imagine.

Time magazine has called Byron Katie “a spiritual innovator for the new millennium,” and her School for The Work of Byron Katie teaches a simple yet powerful method of turning lives around. Unlike every other school on earth, this one isn’t for learning—it’s for unlearning. The nine days are focused on unraveling the fear-based stories people innocently cling to all their lives—stories like ”I’m not good enough,” “My husband should listen to me,” “My wife should be more sexual,” “I’ll never get over it,” “I need more money,” “he should apologize,” “I’m too fat.” Once these stories are thoroughly questioned, people discover a happiness they hadn’t dreamed of.
The School helps people to discover that their stories are everyone’s, and everyone’s stories are theirs. In the kind, supportive environment of the School for The Work, people find that they can be completely themselves, without fear of judgment, perhaps for the first time in their life.
The curriculum at the School is a living, evolving process and addresses issues such as money, gender, sex, body-image, death, addiction, and relationships. Each exercise is led directly by Byron Katie and is tailored to meet the needs of the participants; no two Schools are the same. And after nine days with Katie, you won’t be either. “Once the four questions of The Work are alive inside you,” Katie says, “your mind becomes clear, and therefore the world you project becomes clear. This is more radical than anyone can possibly imagine.”
Each day during the School, many participants report feeling freer and happier than the day before. Old habits fall away like outworn clothes. People find themselves eager to get up in the morning, in order not to miss a moment of the unfolding adventure.
Many participants consider these nine days to be the most important days they have ever spent. Insights and realizations continue long after the School has ended, and for many people these insights are permanent. They report that they experience life in a profoundly different way and that for the first time they recognize that the universe is friendly.
