Adirondack Extreme Adventure Course officially topped the list of Best Attractions Lake George NY, 2nd only to Six Flags when LakeGeorge.com completed its 2010 Best of Lake George survey. The 2nd annual contest polled tourists and locals about Lake George Things to Do, Dining and Lodging over a 3 week period. Owner, Jamie Johnson said he was thrilled to hear that his aerial adventure park received such high honors.
A perfect host for new york corporate events, day trips, group outings, or team building. Adirondack Extreme's aerial adventure park will be open weekends and by reservation Monday through Friday, weather permitting until November 28th and re-open for it's 5th season in April of 2011.
Adirondack Extreme is an adventurous obstacle course set in the heights of the Adirondack Forest and features tree to tree experiences for all ages and fitness levels. Elements of the park's 5 color-coded Adult courses (ages 11+), Kids course (ages 7-10) and squirrels den (ages 3-7) include: 130 games, two giant Tyrolean zip lines (350ft. in length), Tarzan swings, suspended bridges, scramble nets, swinging logs, surfboards, all set 20 to 50 feet above the ground. “We've found that entertainment can be a physical challenge,” says Owner, Jamie Johnson, who encourages everyone to “find his or her inner monkey.”
All participants attend a brief training session where they are fitted into a harness and shown how to attach themselves to safety lines and zip lines and is designed to allow for self-management as they travel through the course. Ground patrol-staff observe and guide from below.
