TISTA Science and Technology Corporation Wins First NASA Contract
Rockville, MD (PRWEB) August 12, 2013 -- TISTA Science and Technology Corporation, a SDVOSB and 8(a) IT and engineering company, announced today that it has won NASA’s Johnson Space Center (JSC) Procurement Support Services (JOPS) contract. JOPS is a SDVOSB set-aside, prime contract for TISTA and represents the first NASA win for the Rockville-based company. The contract has one base year with four option years and a total value of $4,000,000.
Under JOPS, TISTA will provide services related to the procurement, resource management, analytical and institutional management functions at JSC. Various activities will include file and records management; document configuration and development; process assessment; acquisition and budgetary preparation; facility planning; data maintenance; logistical duties; and report integration.

TISTA, who has performed similar services for the National Guard Bureau and the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs, will follow ISO 90001:2008 process improvement standards to help meet JOPS requirements. The company will also partner with 4WS, the incumbent on the prior contract.
