"We have seen first hand in the alumni at SCHC that PTSD service dogs can provide crucial support for a veteran as they work towards freedom from symptoms," explained Jordan further. Wounded Warriors Canada is proud to be the nation's largest charitable donor supporting PTSD Animal Assisted programming. Sunshine Coast Health Centre uses a non-12 step methodology to work with clients against substance abuse. The starting point of the program is Viktor Frankl’s proposition that the fundamental motivation in humans is the will to meaning, the need of the individual to make sense of his or her life and pursue a personally meaningful existence.
