Transamerican Auto Parts Making a Splash at Lucas Oil Offroad Expo in Pomona
Compton, California (PRWEB) September 30, 2015 -- Several Transamerican Auto Parts’ subsidiaries will be participating in the Lucas Oil Offroad Expo in Pomona, California this weekend October 3-4. Transamerican (TAP) will have a full-service retail presence with show-only discounts, product giveaways and a Rubicon Trail rock area with ride alongs for off-road enthusiasts. Presented by General Tire, the Offroad Expo will be held at the Pomona Fairplex and hours are from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. on Saturday and until 5 p.m. Sunday.
TAP subsidiaries that will be at the weekend event are 4 Wheel Parts, Smittybilt, Rubicon Express, LRG Wheels, G2 Axle & Gear, Pro Comp and Poison Spyder Customs. On Thursday, October 1, the 4 Wheel Parts’ West Covina store will host a live remote broadcast with popular Southern California radio station KROQ from 4 – 6 p.m. KROQ personality Lightning of Lightning’s Garage will be on-site and there will be giveaways on 4x4 products including a lift kit, truck tires and wheels.
“It’s the nation’s largest off-road exposition and we will have four complete semi-truck displays along with the 4 Wheel Parts Showroom on Wheels,” says Bob Thilman, Marketing and Outside Events Manager for 4 Wheel Parts. “People are there to see new products and innovations in person and get a jump on their holiday shopping.”
“We’re going to showcase our new Tundra as it makes its debut appearance at a public consumer show,” says Chloe Eady, TMB Brands Marketing Manager. “Everyone can check out our Pro Comp long travel suspension system that will be available at the end of November.” The Racing 905 Tacoma truck that won the Class 7 Baja 500 this year will also make an appearance at Pro Comp’s booth.
Off-Road Expo marks the heart of the tradeshow season for the entire Transamerican Auto Parts family of companies culminating with the annual SEMA show in Las Vegas, Nevada. TAP’s “Life is Better Off-Road™” award will make its debut this year at the November, 2015 SEMA Show. The industry prize will be awarded to the best presented, truly off-road capable truck, Jeep or SUV on display at the show as judged by a select panel of industry experts.
