TrineDay Books Presents New Evidence Regarding Need to Reopen Investigation about Deaths of JFK and RFK at April Conference in Illinois
Keynote speakers are Ed Tatro, one of the nation's preeminent JFK assassination researchers, and Lisa Pease, author of A Lie Too Big to Fail: The Real History of the Assassination of Robert F. Kennedy. New revelations are also revealed by Journalist John Barbour, the original founder and host of NBC's 'Real People', who will unveil a new movie based on his interviews with New Orleans District Attorney Jim Garrison and how the American media is implicated in the "second assassination of JFK".
OLNEY, Ill., March 18, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The nation's foremost experts on the assassinations of John F. Kennedy, Robert F. Kennedy and Martin Luther King Jr. will gather April 4-7 for a conference at Olney Central College, 305 N. West St., Olney, Illinois. The campus is located about 2.5 hours from St. Louis, Missouri.
Sponsored by the JFK Historical Group, "Political Assassinations of the 1960s" will explore, in an academic setting, the deaths of these three iconic leaders focusing on new details, which have emerged more than a half-century later.
John Barbour, the only journalist to get in depth interviews with District Attorney Jim Garrison, will discuss how "fake news" began with JFK Investigation and premiere his documentary 'The American Media and the 2nd Assassination of JFK'.
Barbour has never been one to shy away from argument and justice with those in the media, as well as the government. In 1992, he wrote and directed the award-winning The Garrison Tapes, which director Oliver Stone heralded as "the perfect companion piece to my movie, JFK. In 2017, Barbour wrote and directed part two: The American Media and the Second Assassination of President John F. Kennedy, applauded as "the definitive film on JFK and the rise of Fake News."
Chris Fulton will review how private collection of JFK's Secretary Evelyn Lincoln is linked to plans by RFK, JFK Jr. and even RFK, Jr for calls to reopen assassination investigations.
Further, Chris Fulton, who obtained a myriad of personal files from JFK's personal secretary Evelyn Lincoln, will unveil how Robert Kennedy intended to reopen the investigation into his brother's death…a mission JFK Jr. and RFK Jr. adopted in their adult lives.
Author Chris Fulton details in his book The Inheritance how the Trump Administration's failure to full open the files made his 10-year battle with federal authorities a larger nightmare.
"These recently declassified documents open new avenues into investigations," said Denton, who has taught the course, "Political Assassinations of the 1960s," for 17 years at Olney Central College. "The fact that Robert Kennedy Jr. has gone on the record questioning the official stories of both his father's and uncle's deaths brings renewed significance to these cases. Having this conference in an academic setting, I honestly believe will bring forth significant information the public has not been aware of up to this point. In particular, I feel we have one of the best lineups of any conference yet associated with the assassination of RFK."
The girlfriend of Lee Harvey Oswalk, Judyth Baker, will also make a rare appearance at the conference. She is the focus of two books, Dr. Mary's Monkey by Ed Haslam and one she co-authored with Haslam, Me and Lee.
