Two Teenage Entrepreneurs Release Dextagg App That Combines Social Network Management and a QR Scanner in One iPhone Application
Canton, GA (PRWEB) August 28, 2013 -- Based in Canton Georgia and developed by two 19 year-old entrepreneurs, the app is suitable for anyone with a social media presence: whether the user contributes to a single social media platform such as Facebook, or stays up-to-date on multiple platforms. Dextagg is also a solution for businesses looking to streamline social media icons that clutter their homepage and advertising efforts. With the QR scanner, Dextagg users may import social media information of their favorite brands directly on their phone.
While in high school, President Arbin Dobbs came up with the idea for Dextagg. “Today’s technology is great for meeting new people and staying connected. However, adding a new friend or business to all the social networks, while juggling different accounts and staying updated with your friends profiles, is time consuming and unnecessary considering the always-on and connected digital age we are in. The intuitive interface provides options to connect personal or business accounts, including: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Google +, LinkedIn, Foursquare, Skype, Youtube, and Soundcloud. Dextaggers may optionally include personal details, such as a phone number, e-mail, or website. “I wanted this app to exist for my own sanity,” explains, Dobbs.
Arbin Dobbs brought in his good friend, Brian DiMaggio to develop the app and bring to market. Dextagg’s built-in QR scanner will recognize any QR code including the one attached to a users profile “There are dozens of social media sites now, which is why we see the QR scanner a crucial feature of this app. Each Dextagg user has their own personal QR code that can be shared with friends. For businesses and brands, they can share with their fan base. Plus the scanner is pretty cool and futuristic,” (DiMaggio.)
Currently Dextagg Inc. is in the startup phase of its venture while the company seeks further investments to improve the over-all nature of the app as well as introduce new ideas when connecting the physical to the online community.
