Urgent Care Association of America Spotlights Value-Based Care and Emerging Healthcare Topics at 2015 Urgent Care Fall Conference
New Orleans, La. A link between the emergency room and primary care, urgent care is helping the healthcare industry keep up with the demands of an increasing number of patients. According to the latest UCAOA Benchmarking Survey, released in late 2014, hospital ownership of urgent care centers has jumped considerably – from 13 percent in 2011 to 25 percent in 2013 – as urgent care is identified as a key component to a hospital and health system ambulatory care strategy.
The 2015 Urgent Care Fall Conference is held through Sept. 26 at the Sheraton New Orleans Hotel and is attended by physicians, advanced practice clinicians, business professionals, UCAOA leadership and industry representatives from across the country.
