Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) May 23, 2014 -- This Memorial Day weekend, VAGLAHS is debuting a new in-house television network exclusively for hospitalized Veterans, with content provided to VAGLAHS by Veteran supporters in the entertainment industry. For the network’s inaugural broadcast, Veterans will enjoy an exclusive screening of the best-selling DVD Terry Fator: Live In Concert, which was provided to VAGLAHS by Lionsgate Entertainment. Best of all, Veterans receiving nursing home care at the West Los Angeles VA campus will get a special treat – Las Vegas headlining entertainer Terry Fator will be coming to the facility to meet with and entertain Veterans today. Fator, well-known for his comedic ventriloquism and celebrity impersonations, has long been a supporter of Veterans causes such as The Twilight Brigade, which provides end-of-life volunteers for Veterans receiving hospice care at the West Los Angeles VA.
Previous exclusive broadcasts have included concerts by The Grass Roots, the band America, and Sugar Ray’s Mark McGrath, as well as a comedy show by the all-Veteran “GIs of Comedy,” each of whom also took the time to visit with Veterans in the hospital. With today’s announcement of this new in-house TV network for hospitalized Veterans, VAGLAHS is confident that other Veteran supporters in the entertainment industry will step up to provide their latest content, and to do whatever they can to put smiles on the faces of the brave women and men who’ve served us all.
