Village at Proprietors Green in Marshfield Offers Veterans Assisted Living Benefit Information
Marshfield MA (PRWEB) December 30, 2014 -- Village at Proprietors Green, a senior living community based on the Massachusetts’ South Shore, is offering a special program for veterans this January about a potential benefit to help defray some of the cost of assisted living. More than 54 percent of individuals living in assisted living are age 85 or older. At least 38 percent of these older adults need assistance with three or more activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing or eating.
The informational program being offered by Village at Proprietors Green is for wartime veterans or their surviving spouses. During the program individuals will learn whether they qualify for the Aid and Attendance Benefit toward assisted living. The presentation will cover eligibility requirements, income qualifications, and the potential for reducing monthly assisted living costs.
