The Back on the Blocks Festival (November 11-15) revives the music and soul found in Pensacola’s Historic Belmont Devillers Neighborhood—a neighborhood known for street parties, famous musical acts, and soul food back in the 60s and 70s. The Back on the Blocks Festival showcases working muralists and street artists, jazz and blues music, conversations with nationally known authors, dance, a jam session, and a Saturday afternoon block party. Yoga teachers from across the southeast and “yogis” will unite, celebrate yoga, and “inspire greatness” at the Mahabhuta Yoga Festival (November 21-23) in Pensacola. The Mahabhuta festival features 24 yoga workshops, organic and vibrant food, and the latest techniques in yoga, including Thai Yoga Bodywork and Acroyoga.
