The rent payment is transferred to the bank account of the property manager. Each day, the Tenant File checks for tenant rent payments, downloads them, and allows the user to post them automatically to the Tenant File Property rental management software ledgers, including calculating and posting charges for management fees.
However, the integration capabilities are not just related to tenant payments. The Tenant File can create checks to Owners and Vendors, and transfer the funds via ACH to the bank accounts of Owners and Vendors. This insures the owners and a vendor get paid on time, and is a convenience to both the property manager and the recipient.
Normally there is a monthly fee and per transaction fee for the DirectPAY service. As an added incentive, Tenant File and Revo have partnered to offer a special summer rate for new signups, which waives the setup fee and monthly fees for three months.
