As Managing Director, EMEA, Banks is responsible for driving the overall business strategy, sales, marketing and channel management for Webroot's growing consumer and enterprise units in these geographies. Banks joined Webroot from 2Wire, a provider of global telecom carriers, where he drove the rapid growth of 2Wire's European business and expansion. Banks' extensive background in EMEA business development, security and technology also includes strategic roles with WatchGuard Technologies, CyberGuard, Computer Associates and Olivetti.
Heunemann will lead Webroot's efforts to establish operations and capitalize on market opportunities in Australia. As Managing Director, Heunemann will oversee the company's sales, marketing and channel management strategies in this new territory. With over 25 years of experience in the IT sector including 10 years in IT security, Heunemann was most recently managing director, Asia Pacific, for Email Systems, which merged with Webroot in November 2007. Heunemann previously co-founded and served as Senior Vice President of Asia Pacific operations for SurfControl.
Stoltenberg is responsible for leading Webroot's global human resources team and implementing programs across multiple geographies to support the company's continued growth. Stoltenberg brings to the company more than 20 years of human resources and organizational development experience. He most recently oversaw worldwide human resources operations for Quark Inc., a leading desktop and enterprise software company. Stoltenberg's previous leadership experience includes roles with GE Access (now part of Avnet Technology Solutions), Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Colorado, New Mexico and Nevada, and Training Impact, Inc. He will be based out of the company's global headquarters in Boulder, CO.
Webroot also recently announced it has named former Postini CEO Quentin Gallivan to its Board of Directors as part of the company's efforts to expand globally and reinforce its position in the security Software-as-a-Service market. As CEO, Gallivan built Postini into a SaaS powerhouse, with over 35,000 companies using its service globally.
