This storm is one of the nation’s worst, and our law school would like to rally the legal community and the entire Southern California area to step up and donate to the victims of Hurricane Sandy.
Los Angeles, Calif. (PRWEB) November 12, 2012
To raise money to help victims of Hurricane Sandy, the Student Bar Association at Whittier Law School will sell toy boats in a campaign called “Float Your Boat for Hurricane Sandy Victims.” These boats will be floated on the fountains in front of Whittier Law School on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at noon and will remain all day as a symbol of support for the victims.
The Southern California community, Whittier Law School students, staff and faculty are invited to purchase a small boat for $5.00 or a “fleet” of 12 boats for $50.00. 100% of the proceeds from the sale will go to the American Red Cross for distribution.
