Winners are Ready to Lose Big at the CU Anschutz Health and Wellness Center: Four Weight Loss Seekers Earn Scholarships to Destination Boot Camp
Aurora, Colo. (PRWEB) August 20, 2015 -- More than 100 weight loss seekers responded when the SPRI Products “Better Every Day” Destination Boot Camp scholarship challenge was announced online. Each submitted an emotional five minute video detailing their struggles with weight gain and the reasons they would benefit from attending the destination transformation program at the University of Colorado Anschutz Health and Wellness Center at the Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, Colo.
Based on their videos, four have been awarded SPRI scholarships to attend a boot camp session:

• Adrienne Ramirez, Del Rio, TX
• Corey Seiulli, Pleasant Grove, UT
• Jillian Hansen, Lehi, UT
The scholarship winners will spend six days at the CU Anschutz Health and Wellness Center’s Destination Boot Camp learning a science-based approach to weight loss that emphasizes mindset. They will leave with tools to continue a successful lifestyle transformation at home either on their own or with online support from a transformation coach and their Destination Boot Camp group in Level 2 of the program.
Hansen, a mother of three, was the first to attend boot camp and choked back tears as she explained the impact it had on her. “I feel completely changed,” she said. “I need to do this for my children and now that I have my mind right, I’m confident that I can become healthy and complete my transformation journey.”
Hansen started boot camp weighing 204 pounds and has a goal weight of 135 pounds. She and the other scholarship winners will document their experiences and efforts to transform on multiple social media platforms including Facebook and Twitter at AnschutzWell.
Destination Boot Camp was started in October of 2014 by Holly Wyatt, MD, medical director for both the CU Anschutz Health and Wellness Center and ABC-TV’s “Extreme Weight Loss”. Wyatt is co-author of the book “State of Slim” and teaches the state of slim principles in her weight loss programs which empower weight loss seekers to create their own state of slim no matter where they live.
