Wolfe, Interactive Marketing & New Media Manager, as the 2011 recipient of The American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) “The Women Who Advance Excellence in Associations Award, Rising Star of the Year (Industry Partner).” Wolfe is proud to join five other association professionals who have set the standard of excellence in their professional lives though leadership, mentoring, and career advancement. The ASAE “In Honor of Women” celebration will be held today, November 2, 2011 at the Capitol Hilton in Washington, DC.

“I am truly humbled,” said Wolfe. “It is such an honor to be nominated, but to know I have so much wonderful support from my esteemed peers and mentors, is what makes it so special. I’m so honored to accept the ASAE Rising Star of the Year award. I plan to bring creativity, hard-work and passion for the industry and continue to advance the association community through new projects especially those involving new marketing media. I would also like to thank ASAE for providing the opportunity to participate in a wonderful program for and about women.”

The ASAE "In Honor of Women (IHOW)” program includes three education sessions, an award ceremony and luncheon. The IHOW program is highly anticipated by the association industry this year as it is the first year the program has expanded nationwide to recognize women for their contributions. The ASAE “Rising Star of the Year Award” recognizes a young professional in the association sphere who is truly ‘one to watch’ because of their contribution to the profession and promise of leadership in the future.

Lauren A.Wolfe is the Interactive Marketing and New Media Manager at Higher Logic. She is responsible for all things creative and marketing. She produces the Higher Logic Learning Series program – an innovative, CAE approved, social media best-practices webinar series hosted every month by the best and brightest minds in the association space. Wolfe is the Chair of the 2011-2012 ASAE Young Association Executive Committee, a founding member of the committee and has been an ASAE member for five years. She is a co-founder of the Young Association Professionals (YAP) organization and currently serves on the Brain Squad (board member). For YAP, Wolfe organizes networking events all over the United States that additionally raise funds for local charities, foundations or programs that need additional support. Wolfe graduated from Susquehanna University (PA) in 2006 and Parkland High School (Allentown, PA) in 2002.
