WorthPoint bridges the gap between modern technology and the antique and vintage world.
Atlanta, Ga (PRWEB) March 28, 2013
WorthPoint recently announced its partnership with Cari Cucksey, host of television’s “Cash & Cari,” to power her newly launched RePurpose mobile application, extending her RePurpose brand.
The RePurpose App consists of several features that assist individuals shopping and valuing items on the go, such as providing GPS directions to local RePurpose events and estate sales, a Quick Response (QR) reader for information on featured items, and exclusive behind-the-scenes videos of Cucksey and her treasure hunting adventures, as well as access to WorthPoint, the largest resource for researching and valuing your art, antiques and collectibles.
RePurpose App users will have full access to WorthPoint’s Worthopedia, the ultimate online price guide that has more than 143 million realized sales records from various online marketplaces and auction houses from around the world.
“I am doing all I can to bring antique awareness to the masses,” says Cucksey. “WorthPoint bridges the gap between modern technology and the antique and vintage world. Collectors will not only find WorthPoint's data to be amazingly useful, but it will also help increase their bottom line. I am very happy to be partnering with such a technologically savvy company.”
In addition, WorthPoint will provide a way to stay up to date on various events and information through a “click to contact” feature, social media and an event calendar that will sync to the mobile device.
“WorthPoint’s partnership with Cari and her team is just a cool alignment of customer base,” says Will Seippel, founder and CEO of WorthPoint. “Cari is a wonderful person and has worked hard to build up interest in this industry through her distinct style and design. I cannot wait to see what opportunities lay ahead of us by working together.”
