XRayData, a Product of Treze, Competes in The Pitch UK 2013 Tonight in Bristol
London, UK (PRWEB) September 25, 2013 -- XRayData was picked as one of the startups featured as a finalist in The Pitch UK 2013, competing for the grand finale due on the evening of September 25th.
XRayData is a product of Treze, a Northern Ireland based company and is one of two Northern Ireland startups featured in The Pitch UK 2013.
In The Pitch UK 2013, after a full day of presentations, live pitching, competitions, workshops, case studies and roundtable sessions and assessments, the winner of The Pitch 2013 will secure the business support package and be crowned The Pitch 2013 Champion. At least one entrepreneur will also receive a share of The Pitch’s minimum £275,000 cash investment. All aspects of the day will be live tweeted here.

XRayData is software that allows parents and schools to be notified of any potentially abusive behavior directed from and to children on social media networks such as Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus and Ask.fm. The software will be soft launching on October 1st.
Ciaran added, “We are trying to help solve a huge problem in cyber bullying, which without question, causes great hurt and pain to all those affected by it. It can have very negative long term consequences for victims and thus families. XRayData has a potential solution in our software product and support packs that should really help try and solve this problem. In addition, we have a revenue model that will allow us give back to education.”
XRayData allows parents to be alerted to negative online behavior on their child’s social networks by email where they can only see what is possibly negative and at the same time allowing the child to maintain a safe online social life. It can be customized to needs of parents and educators, allowing for a better safer online presence for everyone involved.
